Roots

I recently had to go to Colorado to visit a seriously ill family member. While there with a little research I found the log cabin that my mother was born in. I'd like to share a photo. It made me feel good to see where I came from. You should all try to find your roots. It gives you a great feeling of belonging and peace.

How bout a little trivia today?

*In the wild, foals will suckle until they are a year old, and sometimes longer?

*The height measurement of a 'hand' is 4 inches. That's because it was considered to be the width of an 'average' mans' hand across the knuckles.

*The Clydesdales became the Anhueser-Busch symbol on April 7, 1933?

*The state of Wyoming has used a cowboy on a bucking bronco on its license plates since 1936?

Do any of you get sick of the price you pay at the gas pump like I do? When pulling a trailer full of horses it's even worse. This is a better site than the one I advertised earlier. We can all save a lot without riding our horses everywhere we go. It's also hard to find a hitching rail in town.

'll be back with you soon. Have a great one. Ken
