Change of Scenery

Can you tell I finally arrived in Germany? This is a shot of the wine terrace on the city walls, looking across the old moat. It's about a city block from where I live when in Germany. My wife and I have a small apartment here in Ornbau. In the old part of the inner city there are many buildings that are over 600 years old. They call this a city even though there are only a little over 3000 residents. Classifications are different here, and not based on the number of residents. As small as this place is, there is a lot of interesting history. The best and most interesting place to find out about it is in one of the Guest Houses, enjoying a good beer and talking to the older people who have lived here their whole life.

Last night while catching up on local news with old friends my wife created a new word. Stupidismus. As you can probably tell, we were having a good time. Just out of curiosity I wrote it down and searched the internet. Couldn't find it anywhere in any language. I'll give her credit for creating a new word. I'm sure you can figure out the meaning she was trying to express.
