Hard Day on the Farm

Long hot and sweaty day. Farming is hard work, but well worth it, when I look at the price of hay. My ponies need the food and it's a good feeling growing my own. Here's another Mustang baby. Sure is fun to watch them grow.

Have a great summer day. Ken

Head for the Hills

It's so rewarding to be at 10,000 ft. after riding through lower Juniper forests, then Oak, then Pine, and higher Aspen. As you progress higher the foilage makes a distinct change. It's finally dried out enough in the Utah mountains to explore. Some places are challenging with the deep and fast water from melting snow in the high country. It adds to the feeling of self satisfaction when you look down in the valley from your high perch. You really must experience this at least once in your life. Visit the ranch and see for yourself. http://www.windwalker.org/. I'll be posting some photos for you soon.

Have a great day. Ken

Mustang Babies

Pretty little thing, isn't she. As I mentioned in previous posts, most of our horses at the ranch are Mustangs. I've found that they are some of the most loving, loyal, and reliable friends I have. I have to share more of the ranch with you, so visit the web site at, http://www.windwalker.org/. You'll get an escape from todays crazy world and learn more of life than you expect. It's an unforgetable and life changing experience. Hope to meet some of you soon.

Make your day beautiful. Ken

Power Nap

This is my friend from the ranch who can't decide what color to be. Taking a break after a morning ride in the hills. Not the prettiest horse, but he's never let me down. Words from my horse.
*Never run when you can jog. Never jog when you can walk. And never walk when you can stand still.
